What is the best way to carpet an aquarium?
If your sub-floor is concrete, I would
recommend having it installed with a double-sided carpet tape with “Grip Tape”
on top of the double sided tape. Shopping Malls do this all the time - putting
a new carpet on top of an existing glued down carpet. Point being, if you have
to pull the carpet in the event it gets wet and musty smelling, you can without
the hassles of scraping up dried adhesives and damaging your sub-floor.
Artificial turf is another option. Being in the Special Events business, we
approach things differently. Going to a commercial carpet supplier and getting
one of their installers to lay it down, they’ll approach is a permanent
install.
